Maybelline Eyestudio Quad Review

Sometimes drugstore shadows can be a hit or miss and I get really exited when I find good quality ones. today I wanted to give you my thoughts on the maybelline eye studio quads, these eyeshadows are one of my favorite  eyeshadows to reach for. The pigmentation on most of them is very good most of them are very soft and buttery and they wear very well through out the day. I've worn them only with a primer because thats how I wear my shadows and i can't complain about the quality of these ones.

First let's start with this quad in Sapphire Stylist, i really love this quad! these are super pigmented and almost metallic looking. they are very buttery to the touch and its a great palette for a night time smokey eye and not to mention that the gold shade is so beautiful I think the picture is not doing it justice. For those of you interested I have a tutorial on youtube using this palette.

This palette is called irresistibly Ivy. I find it to be a very nice selection of colors because you have the option of creating something  very neutral or you can go for a fun pop of turquoise, and for those that know me you know that turquoise is my favorite color ever so you know I can't say no to that! the shadows are very pigmented for the exception of the lightest shade which would be the highlight color and in my opinion I don't need the highlight shade to be a very pigmented one so no complaints there.

this next one is called sunset seduction and although it is a very beautiful selection of colors it is the least pigmented out of the four that I own. I know you are probably thinking that I swatch the wrong palette but I didn't that first shade that I suppose to be the highlight shade looks white in the pan, when swatch or applied on the lid it actually gives you the most beautiful pink with lavender undertones to it, depending on how the light hits it. the rest of the shadows are ok. they are nice colors but not very pigmented. You need a nice primer or sticky base to make them show up close to what you see in the pan. these are not bad but they are not great either. The last palette is called Give Me Gold and this one is my most worn palette out of this collection. I absolutely love it. Its very neutral and easy to wear. pigmentation is great and the colors are gorgeous.
So i hope you guys enjoy this post and i will definitely be picking up more of these shadows and i will keep you guys posted when i do!

Wet n Wild comfort zone palette.

I know i haven't posted anything in a really long time but today i decided that it was time to give my blog some love. so here are some swatches of a super affordable eye shadow palette that I've been loving lately. so much that I've been neglecting my naked palette.
It's the Wet n wild comfort zone palette.
If you dont have this i urge you to go to your local drugstore to try it out because from the color selection to the actual quality of the eye shadows, this is really good and for about $5 dollars you really cant go wrong!!

wetnwild color icon blushers

Today's post is going to be a product review and it is on the wetnwild color icon blushers.
I have to say that I've been looking at these blushes for a while now but since am more an eyeshadow girl I wasn't really interested in trying them out. So the other day I stopped at my local rite aid and found them on sale @ 40% off so I said " why not"
am actually relly glad i decited to try these out! if you have watch my resent haul video you probably saw that i got a MAC blush and i have to say that i find the wetnwild blushes to be as pigmented or if not more pigmented than the mac blushes.
they are supper creamy and very easy to blend. you just need a touch of your blush brush and you are good to go. sometimes even a touch of a brush can be too much! that's how pigmented they are. if i had to say one negative thing about these blushes it would be that they can be a bit powdery, i personally don't have a problem with that but its something to take into consideration. as far as i know they only have 4 colors here are some swatches and color descriptions. hope you enjoyed this post and if you have any questions just ask me on TWITTER: @amnerys

*BERRY SHIMMER: berry pink with gold shimmers
*MELLOW WINE: dark rosy pink (matte)
*PEARLESCENT PINK: light pink with gold shimmers
*HEATHER SILK: dark fuchsia pink (matte)
